Happy Valentine's Day to all of our friends and guests. It seems like we are really in the "heart" of winter here in Door County! The blizzard has now passed through (well, this one anyway) and left a beautiful blanket, maybe comforter, of snow. Ideal conditions for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The abundance of activities this month also include, candle-light trail rides, ice fishing, hiking, Fish Creek Winter games and more. For indoor delights, we have The Maritime Museums, wineries, fine dining, galleries, theater, and bargains galore!
Speaking of bargains
- there's a little leprechaun in all of us, and

County Peninsula:
February and March: It's peaceful and quiet in Door County right now. We like to say it's the time of year that locals get a chance to visit again. The scenery is still breathtaking as new dustings of snow frost the trees. Cross country skiing, hiking and snow shoeing are still available in the State Parks and at Crossroads at Big Creek. Sleigh rides and horse and carriage rides. Ice fishing rounds out our outdoor activities - it's fun to wonder what goes on in those fish shanties!
